I've had one of these little lights for a couple of years now. I love that is has no blue light and that you can change the brightness on it. My only gripe is the push down function to switch it on/off/change brightness is a bit cumbersome and noisy, especially at night when trying to not wake others up. Would be amazing if the design could be changed a little to make it less noisy.

Absolutely love this light…the colour temperature is perfect giving a beautiful warm tungsten-like glow. It’s great also for carrying around the house when you don’t want to disturb anyone by switching light switches. Very pleased with this indeed.

I'm about to buy my second one of these brilliant little lights to use at home. I first bought one because I travel for work and often find myself staying in hotel rooms where the only way to clearly identify where the bathroom is, is to leave the light on in there. That's really bad because the light is often linked to a fan. Plus, if you need to use the bathroom in the night, the light in there is harsh and wakes you up. So I take my Block Beacon Light on every trip, switch it on in the bathroom all night and it's the perfect solution. If it were a little less expensive I'd buy them for my whole family.

Arrived promptly after ordering, packaged in a small cardboard box with a power cable included for charging. The light itself is lightweight and easy to carry from room to room. It did initially appear a little plasticky and cheap but it has grown in me.

The push-down function to change the brightness and turn the light on or off does work, but it’s a bit clunky and noisy, especially noticeable if you’re using it at night..which is why I’ve given it 4 stars.

I’m really glad I chose the amber colour instead of red. It gives a beautiful, warm glow that’s very similar to candlelight, but without any toxic fumes or burning concerns. Charging is via USB-C, and I appreciated that the light turns red while charging and green once fully charged, making it very easy to tell its status at a glance.

I would definitely consider purchasing again or buying one as a gift. Some kind of sticker, magnet, or hook could be a useful addition for fixing it in place, although the portability is one of its strengths. It is on the expensive side, so it’s worth keeping an eye out for sales where you can sometimes get 15–20% off.

The battery lasts a long time, and the device is super light and practical. I always travel with it so I don’t have to deal with disruptive hotel lights before going to sleep. At home, it’s my go-to when I get up in the middle of the night to use the toilet. I liked it so much I bought a second one!

I have to get up early (before sunrise) daily for work. I use this to help apply my makeup. As soon as my eyes see the sunrise, I can flip on the overhead lights. The Beacon Light has helped keep my circadian rhythm intact. I also love how portable it is! It's super easy to travel with. And I love that I can charge it instead of having to buy new ones.
